Biography

Chang Hun Lee is an Associate Professor in Craniofacial Engineering at the College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Inje University in South Korea in 2002, followed by a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University in 2010. He completed his postdoctoral training at the Center for Craniofacial Regeneration in 2014. Throughout his career, he has developed innovative strategies for tissue regeneration, particularly in targeting the body's own stem cells to defect sites. His research has led to significant advancements and publications in leading journals such as The Lancet and Science Translational Medicine. Dr. Lee has received numerous awards for his research, including the New Investigator Recognition Award from the Orthopedic Research Society in 2013, and has mentored many students in the field. Additionally, he is active in various academic committees and societies, contributing to research and development in biomedical engineering and regenerative medicine.
