Chaoqun Ni is an Associate Professor at the Information School of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington, with a minor in Statistics. He has a strong background in Information Systems, earning both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce Information Systems from Wuhan University. His research areas include Science Policy, Scholarly Data Analytics, and Scientometrics. He is committed to examining the dynamics of authorship in scientific publishing and the impact of gender disparities within the academic landscape. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the discourse on information literacy and is actively involved in teaching courses related to database management and data visualization. His publications span various influential journals, showcasing his engagement with contemporary issues in his field.
