I am currently working as a Research Fellow at the Australian National University (ANU), with my research partially funded by the University of Edinburgh for my contributions to the Scottish Historic Population Platform (SHiPP) project. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from ANU in 2022, where my doctoral research focused on proposing effective record linkage techniques for complex population data. Record linkage involves identifying related records in datasets, which is an essential step for cleaning datasets and removing duplicates. This task becomes particularly complex with population datasets, which can be affected by transcription errors and variations in names. My work aims to develop high-quality population record linkage methods to address these issues. I have supervised research students and have been involved in topics related to data mining and record linkage.
