Biography

Charles-Emmanuel Côté is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Law at Université Laval, specializing in international law and its impact on Canada. He is a regular member of the École supérieure d’études internationales (ESEI). Professor Côté has contributed significantly to the field through his publications, including 'Federalism and Foreign Affairs in Canada' in The Oxford Handbook of Comparative Foreign Relations Law, and 'Applying International Law to Canadian Environmental Law' in Environment in the Courtroom. Professor Côté is also involved in the media and academia, having co-directed the international law book 'Changing Actors in International Law', recently published in the Netherlands. He has been appointed to the list of binational special group members of the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).
