Dr. Charles Campbell

Biography

Charles Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the Classics department at Purdue University, specializing in Greek and Latin literature. He is a faculty fellow in the Cornerstone Integrated Liberal Arts program. Campbell earned his Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Cincinnati after completing a B.A. in Classics at Grinnell College. His teaching and research focus includes Greek and Latin poetry, with particular interests in Greek epigram, the works of Catullus, ancient Greek poets, mythology, epic literature, and ancient law. Campbell is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of classical texts and their relevance to contemporary curricula.
