Biography

Charles J. D. Kupfer is a Professor of American Studies at Penn State Harrisburg. He earned his Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Texas in 1998 and has an impressive academic background, having graduated from Sidwell Friends, Johns Hopkins, and Oxford. Kupfer began his teaching career at Michigan State before joining Penn State Harrisburg in 2001. He is a prolific author, with works including "Felt Flames: Hitler's Blitzkrieg, America's Story" and "Indomitable Turning Defeat Victory Pearl Harbor Midway." His academic articles have been published in notable journals such as the International Journal of the History of Sport and Pennsylvania History.
