Biography

Charles Larson graduated from McGill's Medical Class of 1971 and subsequently specialized in pediatrics and public health. He joined McGill Departments of Pediatric Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 1979. Larson began his global health career in the 1980s, working abroad in East Africa and South Asia. His career has focused on capacity building, development, delivery research support, and scaling life-saving interventions for children under five years old. He is currently an adjunct professor at the School of Population and Global Health’s Department of Global and Public Health.
