Biography

Charles Tharp is a Lecturer in Management and Organizations at Boston University's Questrom School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Labor Industrial Relations from Michigan State University alongside an L.L.M. in Human Rights and Social Justice from the University of Connecticut School of Law. His academic qualifications also include a J.D. from Quinnipiac School of Law, an M.A. in Economics from Wayne State University, and a B.A. from Hope College. In addition to his academic roles, Tharp has a robust corporate background with progressive leadership positions in human resources at major companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Saks, and PepsiCo, among others. He has also contributed to the field as a distinguished fellow at the National Academy of Human Resources.
