Dr. Charlotte Bunne

Biography

Charlotte Bunne is a tenure-track assistant professor in Artificial Intelligence Molecular Medicine at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) within the School of Computer and Communication Sciences. Her research is primarily focused on the development of multi-scale, multi-modal AI methods that leverage large-scale biomedical datasets obtained from experimental technologies. By tailoring therapies to an individual's unique molecular profile, her work aims to advance personalized medicine through innovative AI solutions. Bunne's background includes a PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zurich and a PostDoc position at Genentech, where she worked under notable researchers such as Aviv Regev.
