Charlotte Farrell is a Lecturer in Theatre Performance Studies at the University of New South Wales. Her research examines the relationship between contemporary live performance, bodies, affect, and social space, with a particular investment in queer feminist performance making. From 2013 to 2020, Charlotte held various positions in New York City, including Visiting Scholar at the Segal Theatre Center at CUNY, Director of the Rox Contemporary Art Gallery, and Executive Director of the CPR - Center for Performance Research. In 2023, she co-founded the performance company Body Work with multi-award-winning performance artist Betty Grumble. Currently, she lives on the unceded lands of the Gadigal and Wangal Peoples.
