Charlotte Firth is an Associate Lecturer and PhD Candidate in the Built Environment at the University of New South Wales. Her research focuses on computational design, robotic fabrication, and 3D printing in architecture and construction. Charlotte holds a bachelor's degree in Computational Design (2018) and a master's degree in Built Environment (2022) from the University of New South Wales. Her current research investigates the use of collaborative robotics and anthropomorphic end-effectors in the construction industry, as well as 3D printing technologies and novel materials applied to construction using principles of the circular economy. She also directs the Robotic Fabrication Minor Specialisation within the Bachelor of Design program, which she teaches at the undergraduate level. Charlotte is dedicated to innovative teaching and learning, and has received several awards, including the ADA Dean's Award for Creativity in 2023.
