Biography

Chelsea Finn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, and a William George Ida Mary Hoover Faculty Fellow. Her research interests focus on enabling robots and agents to develop broadly intelligent behaviors through learning and interaction. Her work intersects machine learning and robotic control, covering topics such as end-to-end learning, visual perception, robotic manipulation skills, deep reinforcement learning, and meta-learning algorithms that facilitate fast learning of new concepts and behaviors.
