Biography

Chen Jin is an Instructor II in the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba. With 14 years of diverse nursing experience, she has completed her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing degrees at the University of Manitoba, followed by a post-master’s Nurse Practitioner Graduate Diploma from Memorial University. Chen's experience includes working as a clinical resource nurse and nurse educator at the Health Sciences Centre, and as a clinical course instructor at Red River College's Urban Circle Training Centre. She has served as chair of the Medicine Nurse Practice Committee at the Health Sciences Centre. Chen's teaching philosophy centers around creating a safe, stimulating, and caring classroom environment, allowing students to express themselves and grow academically. She is deeply motivated to share her practical experience and applied research with her students, considering them as fellow learners and a source of inspiration.
