Biography

Chenguang Lou is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, specializing in Nucleic Acid Chemistry. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Southampton between October 2007 and September 2011. His research interests include the development of DNA-binding peptides and oligonucleotides, aiming to advance anti-gene triplex technology. Lou has actively participated in several projects, including isolating amyloid peptide oligomers at the single-molecule level and the de novo design of artificial coiled coil structures. He has contributed significantly to his field through various publications and peer review activities, particularly in journals such as Molecular Sciences, Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry, and Medicinal Chemistry. In addition to his research, he has been involved in teaching and supervision of Master's level students and has organized workshops and courses related to his areas of expertise. Lou has received several accolades, including the Wiley Poster Award in 2018 and the IS3NA Antonin Holy IRT Poster Award in 2016. Currently, he is also a Project Participant at the University of Southampton from 2011 to December 2012 as a Research Fellow.
