Dr. Cheol Eun

Biography

Professor Cheol S. Eun is a Professor Emeritus who has served at the faculties of the University of Minnesota and the University of Maryland, as well as being a visiting professor at the Wharton School. He is an active scholar known for his contributions in top journals in his field, including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Finance, Oxford Economic Papers, Journal of Portfolio Management, and Management Science. He has served as an associate editor for several notable journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Global Finance Journal, and the Journal of International Finance. Professor Eun has received the Teaching Excellence Award six times from the University of Maryland and has acted as a consultant for prominent organizations, including the World Bank. He holds a Ph.D. from New York University and his research interests encompass International Investments, Capital Market Theory, International Corporate Finance, and Financial Risk Management.
