Biography

Cheryl joined the PGCE teaching team at the University of Warwick in 2005 on a part-time and temporary basis, contributing to the English and Drama professional programmes. She was appointed as a Senior Teaching Fellow and Course Leader for the English and Drama PGCE in 2010, where she led the mentoring policy for PGCE subjects. Cheryl has worked closely with the Teach programme over her time at the university and was invited to be a National Mentor Training Consultant. She has supported students in the MA Drama and Theatre Education course by supervising dissertations. After taking time away to commence her ESRC funded doctorate, which she is currently completing, she returned as a Senior Teaching Fellow in 2017, working with the MA Drama and Theatre Education and MA Drama in English Language Teaching programmes. Cheryl is a member of the National Drama (ND) teaching association and a member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
