Biography

Chi Meng Chu is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Monash University and two Bachelor degrees from the National University of Singapore. His professional background includes being a clinical forensic psychologist and a registered psychologist with both the Singapore Register of Psychologists and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. He is also a Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Scientist with the British Psychological Society, and an Associate Fellow. Currently, Chi Meng serves as the Director and Senior Principal Clinical Forensic Psychologist at the Translational Social Research Division of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) in Singapore. In addition, he leads Special Projects at the Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). His responsibilities include overseeing large longitudinal multi-birth-cohort studies in Singapore and addressing forensic mental health policy settings.
