Dr. Chiara Valli

Biography

Chiara Valli is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Communication and Media Studies, University of Bern. She has a strong academic background, having studied political science at the University of Zurich and completed a Research Masters in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. Her dissertation, completed at the University of Bern in 2024, focused on political communication and persuasive communication within the context of political psychology. Chiara has actively participated in various conferences, presenting her research at prominent gatherings such as the American Political Science Association (APSA) and the International Communication Association (ICA). Her research interests are centered on political communication, persuasive communication, campaigning, and political psychology.
