Biography

Chichi Lee is a lecturer in Legal Practice at Yale Law School. Prior to joining Yale, she served as a supervising assistant district attorney in the Appeals Training Bureau at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. In her role as an appellate prosecutor, she briefed and argued cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court, dealing with seminal issues related to crimmigration, murder, and human trafficking. Chichi handled post-conviction motions and worked on trial court cases involving claims of factual innocence. She also directed investigations in various cases, focusing on homicides and issues surrounding search warrants and digital evidence. Additionally, she trained and supervised interns and prosecutors, providing guidance on law enforcement procedures related to evidence searches, seizures, and digital material. Chichi served as an advisor to the Harvard Law School Mock Trial Association and taught “Legal Research and Writing” at Boston University School of Law, New England Law Boston, and Soochow Law School in Taiwan. She holds an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law and a B.A./LL.B. from Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan.
