Biography

Chin Park, PhD, MBA, RN, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and the Director of the Nursing Informatics program. With a robust background in healthcare spanning over 14 years, Dr. Park has expertise in hospital pharmacy operations, information systems, project management, nursing administration, and data analytics. Prior to joining the faculty at NYU Meyers, he served as a project manager for a hospital-wide medication cabinet deployment, enhancing pharmacy medication administration through professional development of nursing staff. Dr. Park also held the position of assistant director at a nursing chemical dependency treatment facility, where he oversaw a team of 30 nurses. Additionally, he was the assistant director of Data Analysis for the New York State Sepsis Initiative, managing reporting and auditing data for severe sepsis and septic shock patients across article 28 hospitals. He earned his PhD in Nursing from Columbia University, MBA in Business from Purdue University, and BA in General Studies from Indiana University, along with an ASN in Nursing from Ivy Tech Indiana.
