Biography

Chitra Ganesh is a Brooklyn-based artist known for her drawing, installation, and text-based work, focusing on excavating buried narratives that are typically absent from official canons of history, literature, and art. Ganesh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and Art-Semiotics from Brown University and earned her Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University in 2002.
