Biography

Chitra Venkatasubramanian is a board-certified neurologist and vascular neurologist with a focus on neurocritical care. After completing her MBBS education at Dr. MGR Medical University in India, she pursued residency in internal medicine and neurology at Stanford University and gained further specialization through stroke and neurocritical care fellowships. Since becoming a faculty member in 2007, her primary emphasis has been on the clinical care of critically ill patients in neurological intensive care units, concentrating on acute stroke and TIA.
