Dr. Chloe Green

Biography

Chloe Green is a Lecturer in English at the Australian National University, specializing in contemporary literature's genre forms and their creation of new affective fields. Her research interests include medical humanities and affect theory, as well as developments in life writing, autofiction, autotheory, and experimental memoirs. Chloe has previously taught at University College Dublin, the University of Melbourne, and the University of Auckland. She is the author of the forthcoming book 'Writing Contested Illness: Experimentation in Contemporary Women's Life Writing,' which is set to be published by Edinburgh University Press. Her academic work spans a range of topics critically engaging with literary theory, particularly affect theory and queer theory, as well as experimental literature and contemporary modernist fiction.
