Biography

Choy Yeing (Chloe) Ho joined the Accounting and Finance Discipline at the University of Western Australia Business School in February 2017. Prior to joining UWA, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Queensland University of Technology after receiving her Ph.D. from Monash University. Her current research projects focus on companies' share issuances, share repurchases, mergers & acquisitions, and payout policies, particularly in relation to environmental and social issues in corporate finance. She has published in leading academic journals and has been involved in attracting $150,000 in university research funding through internal and external grants. Her research interests primarily include Corporate Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Environmental Finance. Specific areas of interest encompass capital management, merger and acquisitions, and the impact of environmental issues on financial markets.
