Biography

Chris Du Plessis is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University, an MSc in Management from INSEAD, and a Bachelor's in Business with Honors in Marketing and a Bachelor's in Science in Physiology from the University of Queensland. His publications appear in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. Du Plessis continues to contribute to the academic community through various research grants and initiatives at SMU, emphasizing the importance of research in enhancing both teaching and learning in marketing education.
