Dr. Chris Evans completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Queen's University and a Trauma Fellowship at the University of Toronto. He has further training in Evidence Based Health Care from the University of Oxford and experience with the London Air Ambulance Service. His clinical focus is on Emergency Medicine at Kingston General Hospital, where he serves as a Trauma Team Leader and Medical Director of the Trauma program. As an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queen's University, Dr. Evans is also an Adjunct Scientist at ICES Queens and an Associate Scientist at the Queen’s Health Services Policy Research Institute (HSPRI). His research interests center on the delivery of trauma care in Ontario, particularly injury epidemiology and the health service needs of major trauma survivors. In academia, he actively contributes as the Assistant Program Director for the post-graduate Emergency Medicine training program, overseeing the FRCPC Emergency Medicine program.
