Biography

Chris Hartley is a Research Fellow at the City Futures Research Centre, University of New South Wales, specializing in housing and homelessness. His expertise includes social housing policy, trauma related to homelessness, and research co-design that incorporates lived experiences. He possesses advanced qualitative research skills, including interviewing and data analysis, and has participated in numerous research projects with the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI). Prior to his role at City Futures, Chris worked as an advocate and solicitor in the homelessness sector for a decade. He is also a member of the Homelessness NSW Policy Council and the Northern Community Gateway.
