Biography

Chris Jadallah is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education & Information Studies at UCLA, focusing on Environmental Justice Education. His research examines the social, political, and relational dimensions of teaching and learning in youth communities, particularly in land-based, community-based endeavors. Jadallah leverages critical sociocultural perspectives in his work, aiming to create and deepen opportunities for individuals to use their knowledge, practices, and perspectives to address climate and environmental justice. He holds a Ph.D. in Science Agricultural Education from UC Davis and a B.S. in Conservation Resource Studies from UC Berkeley.
