Biography

Chris Perryer has over twenty years of experience as a manager in both private and public sectors, having lived and worked in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the United Kingdom prior to his academic career starting in 2001. He teaches International Management, Applied International Business Strategy, and Business Ethics predominantly at the MBA level. Chris has taught programs at the University of Western Australia in Perth, as well as in Singapore, Jakarta, Shanghai, and Manila and served as Academic Director for the Singapore and Manila MBA programs. His consulting work spans numerous projects within both the public and private sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, including roles for the Australian and Western Australian Public Services, and several institutions across Central Asia and other countries. Additionally, he is the founding director of Culture Bridge Australia Consulting, which focuses on aiding organizations in executing business strategies and enhancing operational excellence. Chris has co-authored and edited books related to business in Asia, and has published around 40 refereed journal articles and conference papers covering a range of current management issues. He is also an active member of various professional organizations related to business education and management.
