Biography

Chris Tsoi graduated with an MBChB from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a trained psychiatrist in both Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. He specializes in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry and is a qualified psychogeriatrician. Currently, he serves as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University Hospital in Singapore and holds the position of Programme Director for the Geriatric Psychiatry Out-Reach Assessment and Consultation Enablement (G-RACE) program. Prior to his practice in Singapore, Dr. Tsoi spent seven years in the UK, where he practiced as a consultant psychiatrist in Leicester and Nottingham. His research interests focus on dementia and depression among the elderly, and he is deeply involved in clinical service research. Additionally, he is passionate about teaching and mentoring residents and fellows. Dr. Tsoi has received several awards and honors at both institutional and national levels, including the Tutor Award from the National University Health System in 2014.
