Biography

Chris Urwin conducts archaeological museum-based research with Indigenous communities in Australia and the Pacific. His research focuses on Indigenous voyaging, cross-cultural encounters, and the relationship between people and places over time. Chris actively engages in public discourse regarding archaeology through articles and media interviews, emphasizing the importance of Indigenous cultural heritage and its relevance to contemporary issues.
