Biography

Christen Bertel L Andersen specializes in epidemiology and myeloid diseases, particularly myeloproliferative neoplasms, eosinophilic syndromes, and chronic myeloid leukemia. He has substantial research experience through laboratory work and clinical practice, as well as projects tied to his role as chairman of the CopLab database. His work is translational, bridging laboratory research, clinical applications, and epidemiology. The CopLab Research Group is anchored in the CopLab Database, which provides a longitudinal resource for population-based research, detailing laboratory testing across various physiological and biochemical markers. The group uses the CopLab Database to explore questions in epidemiology, clinical medicine, and public health, enabling studies on a broad range of topics from disease etiology to health services research and preventive medicine.
