Christiaan van Bochove is an associate professor of economic and social history at Utrecht University, specializing in financial history during the early modern period. Moreover, he co-editor-in-chief of the Research Data Journal in the Humanities and Social Sciences and an editorial board member for the New Maritime History of the Netherlands.
