Christian Berger is a Full Professor in Software Engineering at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He received his Ph.D. from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2010 and joined the University of Gothenburg in 2012. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015 and became a Full Professor in 2022. His research focuses on Software-Defined Vehicles, Automotive Software Architectures, and Trustworthy AI/ML-enabled Software Engineering. He is also a founding member of the Graduate School and currently serves as the Director of Doctoral Studies at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at both Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg.
