Biography

Christian Beltoft Brøchner is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. His research interests focus on the development of the human neocortex with a particular emphasis on glycoprotein YKL-40. His work has included studies on human embryonic stem cells and their role in normal human brain development, as well as their implications in various forms of cancer and autoimmune inflammatory diseases. His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree, a Medical Doctor degree, and he is currently pursuing a PhD at the same institution.
