Biography

Christian Ewerhart received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bonn in 1997. He worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group before returning to academia as a post-doc at the University of Mannheim in 2000. In 2003, he became a Professor of Information Economics and Contract Theory at the University of Zurich. Professor Ewerhart specializes in game theory and information economics, with a special emphasis on the analysis of conflict. His research has been published in respected journals including the Review of Economic Studies, the Rand Journal of Economics, the Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior, Mathematics of Operations Research, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. Presently, he serves as the president of the Oligo Society and is a member of the Steering Committee at the UZH Blockchain Center.
