Christian Fager received his Ph.D. degree from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in 2003 and became a Full Professor at the university in 2019. He currently heads the Microwave Electronics Laboratory. Dr. Fager's research spans topics such as nonlinear transistor modeling, energy-efficient power amplifier transmitter architectures, nonlinear distortion analysis, behavioral modeling, digital pre-distortion linearization, nonlinear wideband measurement techniques, digital radio-over-fiber solutions, and distributed MIMO systems. He is a co-inventor on eight patents/patent applications and has published more than 250 papers in refereed international journals and conferences. Additionally, he co-authored the book 'Nonlinear Transistor Model Parameter Extraction Techniques' with Cambridge University Press in 2011. An IEEE Fellow, Dr. Fager serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Microwave Magazine and is a member of the MTT-S technical coordination committee for Wireless Communications. He is a board member of the European Microwave Association (EuMA) and has served as chair/co-chair for the 2020 and 2021 IEEE Topical Conferences on RF/microwave Power Amplifiers, as well as the TPC co-chair for the 2020 European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference. His accolades include the Chalmers Supervisor Year Award in 2018, the inaugural Chalmers Area Advance Award in 2010, and the IEEE International Microwave Symposium Student Paper Award in 2002.
General requirements apply to all departments listed at Chalmers. Specific departments like Architecture require a portfolio. Programs in Management/Economics do not strictly require GMAT/GRE but high academic standing is prioritized.
