Dr. Christian Jacobsson

Biography

Christian Jacobsson began his studies in psychology in Umeå in 1982 and completed his program in Gothenburg in 1989. He has worked as a psychologist consultant in the fields of work and organizational psychology since 1994 and became a lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the University of Gothenburg in 2001, where he also completed his Ph.D. in psychology. As a senior lecturer, Christian's major focus is on teaching work and organizational psychology within the psychologist program. His research interests include work groups and work environment stress, with current projects examining the health of managers in the healthcare sector and the impact of media interactions. He has published multiple studies focusing on group development, health dynamics, and the effects of media perception on healthcare managers.
