Professor Christian Jakob was awarded a PhD in Meteorology from Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, in 2001. He has been recognized as a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s 5th Assessment Report and has received multiple awards, including the Ascent Award from the American Geophysical Union in 2016 and the Morton Medal from the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society in 2019.
