Biography

Christian Liebske received his 'Diploma' degree in Mineralogy (Dipl. Min.) in 2001 from the University of Hannover and a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in experimental petrology from the Bavarian Research Institute of Experimental Geochemistry and Geophysics (Bayerisches Geoinstitut, University of Bayreuth) in 2005. He then conducted post-doctoral research at the Institute of Geochemistry and Petrology at ETH Zurich, and spent four years in industry working in Research Development at Tata Steel Europe in the Netherlands. In 2011, he returned to ETH Zurich as a lab manager and senior researcher. His research interests primarily lie in the state evolution of Earth's planetary interiors.
