Christian von Buchwald has extensive research experience in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck cancer. He is currently involved in a large demographic, clinical, and molecular study on head and neck cancer in Denmark, focusing on the relationship with Human Papillomavirus as a possible explanation for the significant increase in the incidence of pharyngeal cancer in recent years.
