Dr. Christiane Purcal

Biography

Christiane Purcal is a Research Associate at the Social Policy Research Centre at the University of New South Wales. She holds a PhD and an MA from the University of Oldenburg. Her research focuses on evaluations related to disability policies, mental health policies, and child and family services. Additionally, she works on policies around informal care. Dr. Purcal employs inclusive research approaches and participatory action research methods in her work, ensuring that the perspectives of stakeholders are central to her research processes. Her professional endeavors aim to improve service delivery and policy effectiveness in the social policy arena.
