Biography

Ms. Christie Wong Barrett guides organizations in sustainable growth through strategic insight, technology foresight, and digital operational transformation alongside global perspectives. Currently, she serves as an Independent Board Member for DMI Companies, an Intermittent Lecturer at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and Co-Director of AmplifyD, a non-profit innovation platform that partners with PlugANDPlay to incubate startups led by minority women founders. Previously, she was the Chief Executive Officer and owner of MacArthur, a world-class manufacturer of innovative labels and functional components, with operations in the U.S., China, Mexico, and Poland. Post a 2021 acquisition of AWT Labels & Packaging (AWT), Christie served on the executive leadership team with responsibilities in Corporate Strategy and Marketing. Additionally, she has held positions as a national policy advisor within the manufacturing sector, having appointments to the White House Advanced Manufacturing Partnership and the Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council. With 25 years of broad-based business experience, Christie has worked across strategy, operations, innovation/R&D/engineering, marketing, supply chain, globalization, transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational performance, addressing complex business challenges in twenty countries for various multinational Fortune 100 companies and mid-market privately held enterprises.
