Biography

Dr. Christina Liak is an Assistant Professor at Queen's University in the Department of Medicine. She completed her medical degree at Queen’s University in 2012, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine in 2015. She then pursued a fellowship in Respiratory Medicine, which she completed in 2017, alongside a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Western University. Since joining Queen's University as faculty in the summer of 2019, Dr. Liak has taken on leadership roles as the Program Director for the Core Respiratory Medicine Training Program and the Sleep Medicine Fellowship. Additionally, she serves as the Medical Director for the Kingston Health Sciences Sleep Laboratory. Her clinical practice focuses on sleep medicine and general respirology. Dr. Liak is committed to medical education and effectively contributes to the training of future physicians in these critical fields.
