Professor Dr. Christina Reuterskiöld

Biography

Christina Reuterskiöld is a Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus on oral and written language skills in children with developmental disorders. Her research particularly emphasizes the influences of both non-linguistic and linguistic contexts on language processing and production. She has conducted studies involving children with autism, hearing impairments, and the 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome, with a special focus on developmental language disorders. Christina is a certified Speech Language Pathologist and recognized by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Swedish Board of Social Care. Before joining Linköping University in 2021, she spent decades at the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University.
