Biography

Christina Smylitopoulos is an award-winning researcher and educator in the field of Art History, specializing in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century art and visual culture. Her research focuses on pedagogical capacities, arts-based methodologies, and material culture, including heavy metal music. Smylitopoulos has held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Yale Centre for British Art, where she has been awarded several grants and fellowships from organizations such as SSHRC and the Ontario Ministry of Science, Research and Innovation.
