Biography

Christina Starmans is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto and the director of StarLab for Mind Development. Her research focuses on how children and adults reason about the social and moral world, drawing on methods and ideas from philosophy and psychology to explore topics such as morality, free will, ownership, fairness, and knowledge. Starmans completed her graduate and postdoctoral work in the Department of Psychology at Yale University. She developed an interest in developmental research during her time at an infant lab at New York University.
