Biography

Christina Tortolani is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. She is a psychologist who primarily works with individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Dr. Tortolani earned her M.A. from Boston College and her Ph.D. from Northeastern University. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at Dartmouth Medical School and was trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Providence VA and Brown Medical School. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various contexts focused on eating disorders and has utilized evidence-based treatment models. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tortolani is actively involved in training interns, residents, and fellows in psychology and psychiatry, and provides consultation and training in the field of eating disorders. She has also published work related to these issues.
