Biography

Christine Dieckmann Bangsgaard is a Postdoc in the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University. Her research interests encompass derivative markets and high-frequency data, with a particular focus on the interaction between retail investors and complex financial products. She is also affiliated with the Danish Finance Institute, where she contributes to the Center for Research on Energy Economics and Markets. Christine holds a PhD in Economics and Business Economics from Aarhus University, which she obtained in 2024. In addition to her research, she is involved in teaching Financial Economics as part of the Bachelor of Science program and supervises bachelor and master theses. Previously, she taught the master's course on Fixed Income Analysis as part of the MSc Mathematics-Economics program.
