Biography

Christine Brown is a professor and head of the Department of Banking and Finance at Monash University. She completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne before joining Monash University in 2010. Previously, she held various positions at the University of Melbourne and has held visiting research positions at the University of Strathclyde, Queen's University Belfast, and Manchester University. Christine has served on the editorial boards of international journals such as the Global Finance Journal and has consulted for the Australian Treasury Board on taxation security and design issues.
